Description: The Bush Hog is a throwback to an earlier era when ground combat vehicles maneuvered with wheels and treads instead of repulsorlift fields. This four-wheel drive ATV is used extensively in the mountains and deep forests of Kintooine. It has changed very little over the hundred years or so it has been used, the only difference being the advanced materials used in its construction and the replacement of the hybrid electric motor with the same one used on the M-11 Gunsled.

The vehicle has a sloped crash resistant chassis mounted on four solid puncture-proof composite tires. It has a front-mounted power winch capable of lifting 1000 kilograms and a maximum towing capacity of 2500 kilograms. The gunner’s station is a small turret situated between the two outboard rear passenger seats. It is equipped with night and thermo-graphic vision sensors which enable the gunner to fire at foes in low light conditions. The gun is not a threat to hard targets such as walkers, but is effective enough against small repulsorcraft and infantrymen, especially in the confines of Kintooine’s forests. Demand for these vehicles is nonexistent outside of the Oranos system due to the prevalence of repulsorlift engines.
